Burwood Council commissioned Blue Sky to study pedestrian traffic in its parks and streets in the vicinity of transport hubs as part of it’s Safer Walkways program. The result was a new signage and wayfinding system designed by Blue Sky that gives practical navigation information to the residents and visitors to Burwood and surrounding areas. Good wayfinding, apart from convenience, has other side benefits including reduction in crime and improved safety, which were primary objectives for this project.

Burwood and surrounding suburbs now have helpful guides and wayfinding to assist pedestrians find their destinations with ease, and provide information along their travel paths.
