Future customer journey and customer flow design for McDonald’s restaurants

Working in collaboration with McDonald’s Australia, Blue Sky undertook research into customer experience in McDonald’s restaurants and developed an all new customer journey design. This work included the preparation of design guidelines for customer flow, restaurant zoning, self service kiosk placement and drive thru experience at McDonald’s restaurants. In collaboration with decor designers Juicy Design, this new customer journey strategy was applied to the Castle Hill pilot restaurant in 2017.
