Advanced cat housing system

In collaboration with EthiPet, Blue Sky designed and documented an advanced cat accommodation system for use in professional animal welfare environments. The purpose built modules set a new standard of care for cats when out-of-home at veterinarians, boarding catteries and groomers.
The EthiPet system combines design expertise with veterinary learnings and insights to provide a solution that delivers a step change advance in support of pet humanisation in out-of-home locations.
EthiPet Cat Accommodation Module System has been installed at a site in Sydney, Australia since December, 2010.
During this time, more than 2,700 cats have been boarded with no cases of contagion spread. The accommodation has enabled the provision of high quality care for cats with existing medical conditions and environmental irritants including: airborne diseases (e.g. cat flu), worms and fleas.
