Designed by Blue Sky in collaboration with Rheem, the Rheem Lazer Office is a stylish, simple to use and safe wall mounted instant boiling water unit suitable for small offices. The advanced design takes the product from a traditionally utilitarian object to a sophisticated, elegant product for modern offices. The product has an innovative, integrated 7-day timer system that can significantly reduce power consumption. Easy to operate and keep clean, Rheem Lazer Office is available in three and five litre capacities — equating to 20 to 35 cups of ready to use instant boiling water.

The Rheem Lazer Office has a sleek gloss black control panel with a flush mounted display set into a pressed and brushed stainless steel cover. The stylish system locates all the ‘plumbing’ out of sight and uniquely places the tap spout centrally beneath the unit. The chamfered body form visually reduces the bulk of the product and highlights the centrally located controls and water outlet.

The product has a flush mount tap, built-in timer and display with an electronic controller that makes operation simple.  The tap paddle form features a raised section to clearly indicate the motion to dispense boiling water. The paddle has dual functionality and can be pushed for momentary water dispensing or pulled outward for continuous flow to fill a jug or pot. The user friendly timer and controls are integrated into the fascia, leaving the surfaces smooth for cleaning. The Rheem Lazer Office also incorporates a Rheem patented auto calibration altitude compensation of boiling point temperature setting.

The materials and finishes of the Rheem Lazer Office compliment modern kitchen environments and relate to other appliances used within this space. The brushed stainless steel body and high gloss black control facia reflect the premium, high quality and performance attributes of the product. The stainless steel cover is clear coated to stop those “impossible to clean” finger marks. Stainless steel also provides durability, while the gloss black control panel unifies the user interface area into one zone.

The Rheem Lazer Office features a built-in seven day timer factory preset to operate 7am-5.30pm Mon-Fri , in addition to this the product has a sleep mode which shuts down the Lazer Office if it hasn’t been used for a user defined period of 1-6hrs in 1hr increments. The combination of these two features can significantly reduce power consumption by up to 40%.

The use of red on specific design details highlights the safety touch points on the paddle and spout. The activation paddle is situated away from the water outlet to ensure the user’s hands do not come into contact with the steam. The paddle is generously sized to allow elderly and low dexterity customers to easily use the product. Automatic safety devices ensure the unit never boils dry.
